The Meeting Room is available for business and training events, committee meetings, meetings of clubs and societies, group activities and social events. It is a popular venue for parties and celebrations and has a seating capacity of 40.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, or have outside caterers provide for your event. Use of the kitchen and appliancies is included in the rental rates.

The village is served by a Post Office, deli / sandwich shop, and two pubs, The Charles XII and The Deramore Arms, both of which serve food.

Heslington is well served by bus routes, with the 66 and 67 running regularly during the day and evenings to and from the centre of York from the bus stop outside Heslington Hall at the north end of Main Street [approximate journey time is 15 minutes].

The bookings for the Meeting Room are managed by a member of the Heslington Meeting Room Committee. Please email hesmeetingroom@gmail.com to discuss your requirements and availability for your event.

Rental of the Meeting Room is charged at £15 for the first hour, and £10 for each subsequent hour.
